Today I decided to give my daughters love in their tummies called Roasted Chicken a la MOM!

First I needed great spices to marinade the chicken with so this is what I used:

• Olive oil
• Black pepper
• Fresh garlic
• Cilantro
• Rosemary
• Organic Sherry
• Paprika
• Organic coconut oil in jar
• Onion powder
• Sea salt

I cleaned the chickens and let them soak in lemon and salt for a while first

Then I bathed my birds in the marinade and refrigerated them for an hour

I then put them in glass trays and baked them for 2 ½ hours on a temperature of 350 degrees

yummmmmmmmmm… the smell is amazing!

Once cooled I made a plate for Nile and added avocado and rice!

A great meal for my little darling who doesn’t fancy her Tracy Reese plating and prefers the table :/

Happy to have you here Today is a special day for us because it is the start of something wonderful…. The BIRTH of Kennedi Price on 12-12-12 !!!! It also happens to be the amazing countdown towards the days of Christmas

Are you ready for this holiday season?  We are and i would like to share with you our Eco luxurious ways of doing so.

Today we are decorating our tree…. Not just any tree it is our ROCKING MOROCCAN ECO TREE.

Let me explain,

I am planning a trip to Marrakech this April 2013 so I can take in the culture and possibly incorporate a new scent for you to enjoy in the Kennedi Price product line.

With that stated i decided it would be a lovely idea to decorate our tree in honor of this event…. so this is how we did it….

I purchased a tree at my local tree farm that was tall, full and who I believe whispered my name from the lonely corner where he was standing.

I didn’t feel like our Moroccan theme would be bold and striking on a green tree so I spray painted it white with krylon Eco Guard latex spray paint (low odor and MIR compliant)

Once it dried we hauled it upstairs and I was very pleased with how beautiful the tree looked in the living room! 

Always thinking about energy consumption and environment this year I decided we would use LED light to light Sir Tree in all his glory.

Nile wanted to get into the decor action, and once I explained that ornaments are not actual balls you bounce we were good to go! 

All of the ornaments we purchased gave me a feel of the bright vibrant culture of Marrakech… what do you think?

2 hours later and many sugar cookies eaten … we completed our task…. and yes… this tree is Rocking!
